In A Spell 03:31
It's already one Well let's see... I made a call, I read the news I checked the mail, I drank some juice It's already five What have I done? I swept the floor, and played guitar I watched the plants just as they are Am I in a spell? 'Cause I can't tell Am I in a spell? 'Cause I can't tell
2.
Can it stay this way for long? Caught in games we thought we'd won Let's not forget about all we've done Open the blinds, and pours in the sun So would you tell me about what you do, Cherish and dream of to get you through Practice and promise and hope comes true All of the things that we thought we knew All of the things that we thought we knew
3.
Alright 02:05
I can't seem to get out of bed I'm spending so much time in my head with all the things that I can't forget I want to be Watching movies at The Revue drinking beers in Trinity too dancing at The Cameron with you I want to feel Alright I just want to get outside but loneliness is dignified I'm never ready to say goodnight I want to be Watching movies at The Revue drinking beers in Trinity too dancing at The Cameron with you I want to feel Alright
4.
Maybe I'm tired But another plant died All I'm trying to do is keep us alive Maybe we're just tired

about

My latest collection of songs, ‘In A Spell’, was written and produced by me, within the confines of my little apartment in west-end Toronto in early April, 2020. These songs stem from the strange feelings of sudden isolation - time seems to warp as the days turn to night; deep reflection of values and priorities and restoring them in light of much needed change; gazing out the window wondering if a familiar face will pass by on the nearly-empty streets below; daydreaming about a favourite place to meet friends on a sunny day or Saturday night. These songs are a soundtrack to our souls current predicament: learning a whole new way of life and the strange new feelings that intimately follow. I truly hope you enjoy them <3
