1.
My body came from a bottle how can I tell who's lying anymore? Just a motion in a stream of potions who says theres no magic in the world? The psychic weather reporter told me yesterday was a storm Well I haven't seen rain for months but really, who goes outside anymore? The dog keeps barking at me they're the only one who kept their heads And we're all in this together someone somewhere once said We're all in this together Forever, forget me not We're all in this together And together we're totally lost
2.
Go play, its fine I'll keep score this time So you unwind and I ache for the sky Play the game right they say it's how you have a good life Play the game right, they say I wonder if the dealer smiles Don't stay, it's fine It's time to take what should have been mind Don't you unwind And I'll make it all right Play the game right they say it's how you have a good life Play the game right, they say I wonder if the dealer smiles
3.
Through the woods we'll swim In the waves, we'll stand And so the world spins 'round our open hands I wish it were this way Always just the same But in the woods, I'll wait for your rain

Wild Life 04:02
I'm alive and I'm opaque watch me up and run I'm a butterfly's effect don't regret a thing I've done Dig my hands through snow sometimes just to feel the burn I'm a heedful elephant don't forget a thing I've learned It's a wild life off and on and it breaks you down, and it builds you up I'm a modest mouse trying to find my little way around A big old home that don't yet know Im there Im a silver spoon and I'm a crescent moon Well see, one's with the stars and one's fed the blues It's a wild life off and on and it breaks you down, and it builds you up
5.
Bones 04:04
Still I wonder if what you gave was true 'cause Im the sun ,and you're the night I'm the bird that stole your flight I'm the bones, you're the sticks and stones I was slipping through your hands Did I cover this old head too well? 'cause I'm the moon that gave you rise Im the gift and your the prize Im the mind, you're the thoughts that crept inside I was slipping through your hands I crumbled in your hands
6.
Running 02:20
Take this weight off my chest I'm here but I don't feel at home Im running Took the train to the lake for the sake I stayed ashore Walked the rails like a maze hoping they'd lead to the poor And I stay on my feet since sleeping walked right out the door So I walk through my dreams but what for? 'cause now I'm running I'm running Take this weight off my chest I'm here where it used to be home
7.
Slow Down 03:30
If it won't wait for you will you stay, or will it bore you? If it won't destroy you, would you slow down 'cause I'd like to join you I can recall a time I thought we had it all but we lift and we fall when we don't slow down at all If it won't wait for you will you stay, or will it bore you? If it won't destroy you, would you slow down 'cause I'd like to join you So, it might dissolve a puzzle with the pieces all wrong But what is life if not to play along? If it won't wait for you will you stay, or will it bore you? If it won't destroy you, would you slow down 'cause I'd like to join you

about

Welcome to a little window into my own personal nostalgia

Very different from the music I have been making over the last few years, but I had a lot of fun making this album back in 2017. I was living in Toronto at the time, playing a ton of shows and making a lot of music with some incredibly talented friends. I was excited and energized by all things music, but at the same time I felt extremely confused and disconnected in life. A lot was changing for me internally and I didn't understand how to process any of it. These songs are a reflection of a bewildered Rose trying to make light of a time in life she didn't understand, waiting for the day it might all start to make sense. Life in 2017 got busy and this album has been collecting dust ever since.

It was originally 11 songs, but it feels a bit vulnerable sharing music I wrote 6+ years ago. So I've handpicked my favourites from the album to share with you. I hope you enjoy
